MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT COFFEE MORNING

SEPTEMBER 30TH 2011

On Friday the 30th September 2011, Macmillan Cancer Support are holding the worlds National Coffee Morning across the UK. This is to help raise funds to help change the lives of people affected by cancer. The first National Biggest Coffee Morning was held in 1991, and 2,600 people registered to hold a coffee morning. Since then it has raised over £60 million pounds for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Party Tracker will be supporting one of our employee's, as she attempts to hold a Coffee Morning, where she will be baking home made cakes, (she never home bakes), and raises money for this worldwide worthy cause.

Coffee Mornings come in all shapes and sizes, at home and at work. The tradition of coffee and cakes are still a firm favourite, but more and more people are adding their own twist! Is anyone doing something out of the ordinary, perhaps a singing night with Karaoke hire or will you perhaps be trying out some unusual cake recipes, or maybe some old family recipe that has been handed down over the years.
