The Carnival is back!!! Notting Hill carnival is approaching. The UK's finest Caribbean festival returns with traditional party dancing, groovy music and exquisite foods, Notting Hill Carnival has been held on August bank holiday annually since 1966, for Caribbean communities to celebrate their heritage in the streets of West London. The West Indian Notting Hill community originally celebrated this and soon it had grown into a huge party phenomenon. It is the largest of its kind in Europe! Not many other carnivals provide hundreds of Caribbean themed stalls, music shows, dancing routines!You can expect nothing but pure and good old fun and entertainment flooding the streets of West London for the Bank Holiday while the carnival is on. With over 40,000 carnival volunteers and over a million party ravers, the Notting Hill carnival only gets more exciting year on year. The carnival is typically decorated with thousands of balloons and funny rainbow wigs! With different artists and bands taking the stages, the atmosphere of the crowd is always incredible.
